West Point is more than a place on the map, it’s home. It’s where neighbors still wave, where families grow, and where the values that built our community continue to guide our future. My vision is to keep West Point the city we know and love while preparing thoughtfully for the years ahead. That means protecting our hometown character while planning smartly for growth. By working closely with residents, the County, neighboring cities, special service districts, the State Legislature, and local developers, we can ensure that every new step forward reflects the priorities of our people.A stronger, more sustainable future also depends on a healthy economy. I will continue to strengthen our sales tax base through balanced commercial development, bringing the amenities our residents want closer to home while working to keep taxes low and services strong.Livability is central to our quality of life. Together, we’ll expand recreation programs, parks, trails, and community events that bring us together and make West Point a place where families of every generation can thrive. Finally, we must plan for housing that supports the people we love, working to ensure options that are both attainable and diverse, so that our children, parents, and friends can continue to call West Point home. This is the vision: a city that grows with care, serves with heart, and never loses the hometown spirit that makes West Point extraordinary.
Leadership means more than holding a title — it’s about serving with integrity, consistency, and purpose. As a long-time resident of West Point, I’ve always believed in leading by example — listening first, working together, and finding solutions that make our city stronger. Whether it’s supporting responsible growth, strengthening public safety, or improving our parks and roads, I’m committed to decisions that reflect the values of our community.

Effective leadership means more than managing projects; it’s about building relationships, fostering collaboration, and earning trust. Through partnerships with Davis County, neighboring cities, and state leaders, I’ve worked to ensure that West Point’s needs and priorities are always represented. I’ve focused on transparency in budgeting, efficiency in city operations, and accountability in every decision. Most importantly, I strive to create an environment where residents feel heard, valued, and confident in the direction our city is headed. At the heart of everything I do is a simple goal: to continue Promoting Excellence, Protecting Values. This is the foundation that keeps West Point the hometown we all love.
